Informal and personal service
We don’t have telephone answering systems, the phones are answered by us. You will get straight through to a member of the productive staff, sometimes one of the partners. We get to know you as a client, your personal circumstances as they affect your tax and after a few calls what your general wishes are. We can meet with you at any time and we are happy to come to talk to you at your place of business if that is more convenient. Our senior partner, Chris Thomas, is on hand to give you personal tax and business advice and with his vast experience can give sound advice on tax and other business problems. We are very active in growing businesses and getting more out of them for their owners.
Why are our fees lower?
Ten years ago we took the move to computerise as much as possible, ahead of many accountancy practices, and we concentrated on giving an efficient service to our clients. Because we were able to cut out administrative costs by using computers we are now reaping the benefits in cost savings. We file online with HMRC and Companies House. We keep our staff to the minimum for the work we output and are highly productive. Many other Chartered Accountant firms have got tied into the high costs of secretaries, receptionists and other support staff and they have to pass these costs on to their clients. We don’t. Neither do we have flashy offices and the coffee is basic instant but in the end this all saves you money.
High-level service
Both our partners are available to turn their attention to your affairs as and when you need it. When you have a tricky situation, both will look at it and work out the best solution for you. Two highly-experienced partners working in unison to sort out your affairs to the best benefit is a force to be reckoned with and one that many clients have been grateful to be able to fall back on. For complicated areas requiring more expertise we have a team of tax and VAT specialists that consult to us competitively on any subject and they are just a phone call away. Our service is second to none.
Pro-active and creative
A claim that will be made by all accountants but do they deliver? Look at what we do:

- For clients who want, or need, a pro-active service we will contact you monthly, quarterly or annually to maintain this.
- We of course do all the normal services of Chartered Accountants but give quite a bit more on top as well.
