Over many years we have built up our specialist work covering entertainment clients.

With a strong strain in the music business we act for Artists, Producers and Independent Record Companies. We understand royalties, PRS, PPL and have software that can even produce artists’ royalty statements and check them. We have partnerships with Royalty Auditors and can advise and recommend when these need to be done.

For a few artists we offer a complete tailored financial service dealing closely with the manager but giving that independence for the comfort of the artist.

Film Production Services

We are also very active in the Film Industry. Besides actors and actresses we act for many ‘behind camera’ personnel and deal with the specialist Film Unit of HMRC in respect of the grades they allow for self-employment, Lorimer letters and the use of limited companies.

We cover all aspects of film financing and we are active in HMRC submissions to get the tax credits on film production in the UK. We can advise on the types of film finance and the special rules you have to follow as to what counts as core production allowable expenditure and what does not, to get the maximum tax refund from HMRC.

We also do many advance clearance applications for EIS/SEIS schemes and advise on their set up.
