Informal and personal service

We don’t have telephone answering systems, the phones are answered by us. You will get straight through to a member of the productive staff, sometimes one of the partners. We get to know you as a client, your personal circumstances as they affect your tax and what your general wishes are. We can meet with you at any time and we are happy to come to talk to you at your place of business if that is more convenient. Our senior partner, Chris Thomas, is on hand to give you personal tax and business advice and with his experience can give sound advice on tax and other business problems. We are very active in growing businesses and getting more out of them for their owners.

Why are our fees lower?

We do not have flashy offices or admin staff. All our staff are productive and answer the phones too. With this low overhead we can keep our charges to you as low as possible. We have many small clients from all trades where we do their tax return and accounts for £395. That is all they pay year after year. Small limited companies, all inclusive, start at £950. We give written quotes at the start of the engagement that are often fully inclusive of all you need. We make a policy of not charging extras unless you have specifically requested them. If you go for a more bespoke service involving senior partners then charges increase but then you are getting the personal service. So we tailor our charges to what you want and have many satisfied clients as a result.

High-level service

Both our partners are available to turn their attention to your affairs as and when you need it. When you have a tricky situation, both will look at it and work out the best solution for you. Two highly-experienced partners working in unison to sort out your affairs to the best benefit is a force to be reckoned with and one that many clients have been grateful to be able to fall back on. For complicated areas requiring more expertise we have a team of tax and VAT specialists that consult to us competitively on any subject and they are just a phone call away. Our service is second to none.

Pro-active and creative

A claim that will be made by all accountants but do they deliver? Look at what we do:

We offer fixed fees that can include all telephone calls, emails and meetings.
We have a website updated with the latest legislation. If you subscribe your email to the web site you get our quarterly newsletter full of tax and business tips (free to all).
We are one of the very few small firms authorised to train students.
Chris Thomas has written articles on tax and business and has lectured on tax and advised 1000’s over his career.
We review your affairs annually for tax saving measures and more often if you request.
For clients who want, or need, a pro-active service we will contact you monthly, quarterly or annually to maintain this.
We of course do all the normal services of Chartered Accountants but give quite a bit more on top as well.
